The Belfast Lecture

10/10/2022

Our Belfast Lecture Workshop was held on 1 October 2022. The outcome of this workshop has determined that the concern we focus on during our Belfast Lecture is 'compassion'. This performative silent event will be a charged concentration and contemplation on the matters that converge in our place and situation now. All are welcome.
Participants should assemble at the front gate of Belfast City Hall on 15 October at 11.45 am for briefing. The Silent Lecture itself will be one hour long, begin at 12 noon and end at 1:00 pm. In shared silence we will, with loving kindness and intention, offer compassion as a universal space for inter-connection, listening and witnessing. The Belfast Lecture on Compassion will be led and convened by Frank Liddy with support of Cherie Driver and in collaboration with the artist Nicodemus.
Afterwards, we will gather for tea and coffee in the cafe at Belfast City Hall. Please note this event will be documented photographically. For more information please contact Bbeyond.
